As part of ongoing enhancements to its aluminium sliding door system, Beaufort Secure Design has introduced a new patio door lock that is quick to fit, simple to use and offers maximum security. The Eurogroove lockstile also offers the fabricator greater manufacturing flexibility and more versatility with handle options. Manufactured by leading German hardware designer and manufacturer, Roto Frank, the high quality lock and hardware is now supplied as standard on all Beaufort's aluminium patio doors.

Beaufort's new lock consists of a continuous one-piece faceplate, which features four-hook locking and an anti-lift device for optimum security. All visible surfaces are coated with the unique RotoSil finish which imparts a smooth silvertone on the hardware.

Surface protection with RotoSil meets the highest industry standards. This includes BS7479 - Method for salt spray corrosion tests in artificial atmospheres; DIN 50 021 - Acetic acid salt spray test; RAL RG607/3 - 72 hours protection from white rust and 240 hours protection against red rust and BS EN 1670: 1998 part 5.6 - Corrosion resistance grade 4. All these impressive accreditations ensure optimum all weather protection.

Designed for fast and easy installation, the lock stryles are pre-routed to speed production and the one-piece striker is face mounted rather than assembled in the stile, so saving further time.

The lock is simple to operate by means of a metal, rather than plastic lever, and the Euro-style cylinder is offset to enable easier access when turning the key.

The ergonomically designed cast aluminium handle is available in white, polished gold, black or chrome to compliment Beaufort's comprehensive range of patio door finishes. In addition to standard stock colours of white, silver, brown and black Beaufort offers a fast respose to requests for special colours from both the RAL and Syntha Pulvin ranges.
